  • Serving as Interim Curator of Education at The Maxwell Museum of Anthropology, University of New Mexico where I created new programming for K-12 audiences as well as wellness programming for the staff.

  • Leading mindfulness and meditation seminars for students and faculty.

  • Creating the program, Mindful Mentorship. At the heart of leadership is noticing and cultivating the potential of people and ideas. And at the heart of cultivating potential is mentorship and mindfulness.

  • Teaching Artful Thinking. Artful Thinking is a practical and flexible program from Harvard’s Project Zero that I integrate into all of my offerings and courses. AT cultivates mindful, constructive and non-judgmental ways of thinking, working and doing, such as deep observation and listening, reflection, curiosity, noticing complexity, asking generative questions, and the taking of multiple perspectives.

  • Facilitating Mindfulness-based art workshops. The practices of mindfulness and creativity are so intertwined and complementary. Immersing ourselves in the creative process immerses us in the practices of mindfulness.

  • Styling Mindful Spaces. Our spaces affect our overall well-being, productivity, focus and concentration, and sense of self. We spend most of our time in our live and work spaces. Our spaces and the items in them are the first things we see when we wake up and the last things we see when we go to sleep. Spaces are an extension of our bodies, brains, and emotions. Let’s give them the love and attention they (and we) deserve!

  • Offering Yoga and Meditation for individuals and groups. I was fortunate enough to live and learn at WEG DER MITTE (The Middle Way) in Germany. WEG DER MITTE is a leader in mindful and integrated living, as well as the home of The European College of Yoga and Therapy and BenefitYoga®. I still return to WEG DER MITTE to further practice and study yoga and meditation.

Having a love for art+design, wellness, travel, learning, and languages, I have studied and lived in San Francisco + Palo Alto, CA; Boston + Cambridge, MA; Florence, Italy; Berlin, Germany; and, Denver, CO. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I now live in beautiful Albuquerque, NM with my husband and two young sons. We watch the moon, sun, trees, birds and flowers change everyday. Nature is our constant teacher, balm, and inspiration.

In Partnership,
Sara

Mindfulness (Creativity) is being awake, moment to moment. Mindfulness (Creativity) is observing, listening, and feeling, and then wondering about what you’ve experienced. Mindfulness (Creativity) is experimenting and being present with the process. Mindfulness (Creativity) is noticing novelty and potential, being curious, and following that curiosity. Mindfulness (Creativity) is a practice; it is playful and never-ending.
